Emily's Room

(January 12, 2008)
I dunno why you wanted to see pictures, it's the same as always -- under construction. Anna is using the room until you get home, and Emily is in your room -- once WE get home...) I can't WAIT to get home on Sunday and start to work on my own house!!!

The dogs decided they had to check out what I was doing.

The cardboard box is full of flipflops from the summer. Pack them for June, if you're going anywhere in June -- because there is no sense in buying more, that's for sure!

If we stay home this summer and work on the house (and maybe at some kind of J-O-B) we can probably enjoy Christmas 2008 with less stress. ;) What do you say, "Dorothy"? There's no place like home!

What can I say? It's minus 40F (which means minus 40C, too) and I'm too tired to sleep, even!

The dogs seriously need baths and grooming... Wish you were here. (tee hee)

  1. Leotards, Tights, and nightstand-personal stuff like lip balm & tissue
  2. Bottoms (jazzpants, etc.), Dance (toe pads, etc.), Skirts (for dance, of course)
  3. etc. (lil blankets), beading (all those crystal beads, etc.), cords (for i-pods, phones, etc...)
Next:
  1. Bras, Panties, Hair-do (clips, holders, brushes, etc.)
  2. Bathing suits, socks (changed from p.j.'s), Vera (wallets, key chains, etc.)
  3. CD/DVD (mostly books on CD), "private" (actually its junk...), toiletries... do not go shopping for shampoo, razors, etc. until you check this box... you may be in luck!)

I just moved the bed to the other wall and adjusted her shelves for shoes and notebooks, etc. When Anna got home I couldn't find any clean sheets except for the teddy bear ones -- all the others were still in the launrdy (since I had been at the housesitting house.)

I still have to comb out the wigs. Argh. Maybe one night when we're watching TV. The chest of drawers: Top= bed linens. 2nd= pajamas. 3rd= seasonal (summer) clothes. And of course 4th= BOOKS. Ever wonder why the drawers break? Books don't belong in drawers. Sheesh.

What a statement... American Girl dolls and Veras. :) I haven't cleaned out her pink plastic thing yet. Not sure I will. I guess it all depends on what's in there. Mostly junk, I imagine.

Okay back to square 1, the door. (actually, it's a rectangle...) It's about time we paint it, don't you think?
And now my eyes are about to slam shut so I'm gonna log off. Love you bunches!
