Emily's foot healed in time for her to "bone up" on the choreography for Thumbelina.

May 3 was the first "Hair and Makeup" trial; we found several areas for improvement.

Um... Foot still too swollen for pointe shoes?
Thankfully, she wasn't about to dance her bit on pointe anyway! These are Gaynor Minden with a #3 box -- which is too narrow for Emily even when her foot isn't broken! It was all for looks anyway, so we found a pair of pink satin ballet slippers for the show. Does anybody need a pair of scarcely worn Pointe Shoes? |
