Emily Broke her Foot! While rehearsing "Humphrey Hop" (later she said it was Candyman; I forget things sooooooo easily!) she came down on her left foot and broke her 5th metatarsal. It wasn't a HUGE break, but it broke -- and it hurt enough to keep her out of dance for awhile. She came back almost 100% in time for Thumbelina. The only dance she had to sacrifice was the Toad's Jamboree. She was able to be a toad for two of the seven performances. |
It didn't look too terrible, but it sure did HURT! Now she'll be able to tell when the weather is going to change! |
