Now the countdown to Thumbelina begins. The dancers worked hard EVERY Saturday since January, I think... and I completely enjoyed watching them.           The performance opened Friday, May 25 at 7:00pm and was a huge success. I didn't get to see the first show, but when I asked Annie and Bill "What was the best part?" they answered, "The WHOLE THING!" It was amazing. Emily was a brilliant Toad: (I made her dress) and motherly Matron Mouse: (I made her cloak)           I made the mask, vest and tie, and gloves with icky claws for her counterpart, Mr. Mole:           and masks for the Jitterbugs (all 20 something of them!): I had a wonderful time making masks for Birdy, Jr. and Birdy, Sr. Birdy, Jr. Birdy, Sr.
