Dance Arts Academy
Recital 2005
Imagine
Emily started ballet class at Dance Arts Academy in 2002. She danced in one number for the 2003 Recital. Performing onstage turned out to be something she liked a lot. She enjoyed it so much that she signed up for more classes in 2003, including beginning ballet, beginning hip-hop and Musical Theatre. In the 2004 Recital she was in six of the dances.
In 2004 she went all out. In addition to Dance Arts Academy classes, she took on a class at Dance Theatre Fairbanks and performed in their winter production, "The Christmas Angel."
Early in 2005 she concentrated her efforts on High School Graduation, "Fiddler on the Roof" and dance for the 2005 Dance Arts Academy Recital. She was in NINE dances this year.
We can only Imagine what the future has in store! |

Dance Class instructor: Jodine Hart
This number got it started right from ... the start!
The blacklights lent an aura of fun with a little bit of "what's coming next?" mystery. It was action packed and impressive!

Another action-packed number, the energy these dancers showed was fantastic. |

Load of fun with Musical Dance Theatre, the theme of "Prince Ali" was colorful and humorous. |

Krista Stamper
This dance was sassy and full of attitude. It was the kind of number that can make the audience want to dance, too! |
Mannequin
 |
Dance Class instructor:
Jessica Hart
This was a surprising and very fun to watch dance. Just when we thought it was over, there was MORE! The dancing mannequins were wonderfully animated and expressed emotion while they compltely maintained their doll-like limitations. I enjoy seeing this one again and again! |

Tap
instructor:
Krista Stamper
This was Emily's first tap number and she seemed to enjoy it while maintaining an aloof and arrogant air (as was called for) and now I wish I'd taken tap when I was a kid! It looked like FUN! |
Bond

This was another wild and crazy blacklight dance and it was awesome.
