Cosmetics Application
(for Stage)
Take a few steps back (or even walk across the room) and look back at this graphic. Which eye looks bigger and more open? Well, it is the exact same eye. Opening it up with make-up makes a huge difference!
This is a computer drawn, exaggerated example of makekup application to enhance the eye. Heavier lashes and black eyeliner left "open" at the outside corner of the eye and highlighted with white eyeshadow makes it appear larger and more open from off stage. Brown or grey contour adds depth.
