On one of their visits to me before I went home to live with the Dourte's, (October 6, 2001) Joelle demonstrated the agility run and my skills. They waited behind the patio door and watched enthusiastically as I made my run. Deb would have taken more pictures but she was laughing so hard, and I was moving so fast she could only take a few. My new family could tell how much I enjoyed agility training, and decided then and there it is something we will continue. If I am really happy and competitive with Ginger and my girls, then maybe I'll compete with other chihuahuas. If not, I'll just have fun at home!
Joelle's run in her back yard is set up for specifically for chihuahuas. When the Dourte's make their run, it'll be for me, but it'll be sturdy enough that old Ginger can give it her best shot, too. See, I think Ginger should get more exercise, and agility would be fun for her and the family too! Alaska isn't cold ALL the time, the summers are very nice and we can have lots of fun.
