My Friends

      Cyber Friends & Neighbors

My pals Kaya and Hobie have a NEW BLOG. What fun! They're so cool, they could be Alaskans!

My newest Cyber Friends are Kaya and Hobie Hunt. Kaya e-mailed me, and here is what she had to say:

Dear Smuckers,

I love your Web site. Could I (and my brother too, I suppose) be your cyber pals?

I am a gentle and very ladylike chocolate and tan (with white markings) Chi. My brother is a wild and crazy black and tan spotted on white Chi. (He's only 13 weeks old, but I don't think that excuses his behavior!)

Our family adopted me despite agreeing they'd NEVER own a Chihuahua. But they fell in love with the breed and had to have me (I'm pretty cute so I'm not surprised). About a 18 months later, they loved me so much they decided to add another Chihuahua to the famliy. So I'm now a big sister to Hobie.
I have attached picture of us. Could you link to our Website and/or our blog?

This is my Web site: http://www.planethunt.com/k9/index.htm

This is my blog: http://www.planethunt.com/jaimeblog/jaimeblog.htm

I can add a link to your page once my "dad" lets me get access to the files on his computer. Thank you! I hope you have a tail-wagging day!

Kaya (and Hobie too, I suppose)

Not all of my friends are chihuahuas or agility dogs, or ... living in Alaska! Well, to tell the truth, I haven't even MET some of my friends, they are cyberfriends... but here's the on-line-up, to date:

Mimi belongs to Sherri, whose beautiful embroidery work is found on e-Bay Auctions.
Princess Mimi was a "save". We got her at 4 weeks - bottle fed every two hours - and as you can see - she made it and is a happy healthy 4 year old.
Dickens and Sugar Angel belong to Sue T. Both of these babies were rescued from a puppymill. Coincidentally, they both came from the same miller! Dickens' name used to be Suzi. She was bred when she was only 6 months old and had 3 puppies at 8 months of age! It breaks my heart to see how serious and sad she looks. She has made a lot of progress, but she's still afraid to be picked up and either cowers or runs away. Heaven only knows what was done to her! This is my heart, my little Sugar Angel. Sugar Angel was adopted 1 month before Dickens. She isn't a very good physical representation of the Japanese Chin breed, but she does have a typical chin personality. She is absolutely the sweetest, most precious little soul I've ever had and is definitely my favorite. I know, we're not supposed to have favorites, and I do love and adore all my furkids, but this one is special. Even more special cuz she was born on Christmas Day! She just turned 5. Sugar was used as a breeder, so there are many little chins running around who will share her terrible back, knees and hips!

If you want to be my pal, too -- just send your picture and a brief summary of your "his" or "her"story, with permission to post (some editing may be necessary due to space considerations and format) and I will be so happy to include you! Email Smuckers! Please let me know if you want your e-mail or site link included. Thanks!

Tequila 'n Company -- and a new arrival!!!
This is Tequila! Click on his picture to hear some music, courtesy of Buzz Baxter. Thanks Buzz! This is Tequlia! Tequlia just turned 11 on Dec. 26th. His favorite thing is sunbathing, although it's a little cold right now for that so he stays on his heated quilt on the couch, waiting for summer. At night he cuddles with me under my elec. blanket!

Tequila adopted SUESANGELWINGS.

And THIS

Is our new pal and baby brother Bambi!!!
This is Noelle`. She was a great Christmas present from my breeder! She is 3 yrs. old. When she first got here all she did was run in circles, but she is much calmer now! Since she is the only girl now, she just thinks she is the queen of the castle. (ok, so she is!) She is very camera shy though. She hates to have her picture taken. Unlike Andre` who is a natural born ham!

SUESANGELWINGS belongs to Noelle, too!.

(Below) This is Andre`. He is a total nut. He loves to play with his feet. Like slapping, high five, and if you say "Bon Jour" he'll give you a hand shake! He also insists on sitting on the top of the couch. This is because Papillons know they are superior to us! Lol! He also sleeps in the bed. Usually on top of my head! We also watch him outside so he doesn't fly off with those big ears of his! (just kidding) He is 2 yrs. old.

Andre shares SUESANGELWINGS with Tequila and Noelle.

Tequila, Andre` and Noelle are happy to introduce Bambi. You're cordially invited to visit: Tequila's Tales for more about this precious little family!
